Pycnogenol® is a premium plant-derived extract extracted from the bark of the French maritime pine tree. This ingredient consists of a combination of active bioflavonoids similar to those found in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Procyanidins are a group of antioxidant flavonoids found in many plants and are known for their ability to protect cells from oxidative damage.
Yes, it is possible to open the capsules. The contents can be mixed into a drink or a meal, for example, without impairing the effectiveness of the ingredients.
It is recommended to take two capsules a day with sufficient liquid with or between meals. Regular use is important for optimum effect.

You can store the capsules at normal room temperature in a dry environment. As long as they are protected from direct sunlight, you are otherwise free to choose where to store them.
