In our Biotin Complex, we combine highly bioactive D-biotin with the important trace elements selenium and zinc for the maintenance of healthy skin, hair and nails. Biotin is also a cofactor in the formation and degradation of protein structures. Through the storage of sulphur-containing amino acids in the hair root cells as well as in the nail-forming cells, it promotes the proportion of stability-relevant keratin-matrix-proteins. Taking biotin is therefore also useful for flaky and dry skin. In addition, biotin supports the formation of erythrocytes, lymphocytes and antibodies and is a cofactor in protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.
